Fiat does not reach the Dodge Challenger
The Italian group said it will not alter the identity of muscle-car sites and Dodge Challenger. They will not escape but the Fiat logo and Nitro models and Journey.
Americans fear that the influence Fiat brand will affect the tradition and values under the Chrysler umbrella. However, the Italians said they will not achieve the iconic names such as Dodge Challenger, but will shape future models such as Journey and Nitro, which could be sold under the Fiat logo, at least in the United States and Latin America.
Fiat initiative will create a strong brand image overseas, with products tailored specifically for the American public. In a recent interview, Sergio Marchioness, Fiat-Chrysler relationship artisan, said "Challenger is an American car, by definition and can not be transformed into anything else."
In exchange for the two model stolen from yard Dodge, Fiat will provide two models of the Chrysler Italian tradition, Ypsilon and Delta, which will give the Lancia logo in favor of American on all European markets. Italy remains the place where the Lancia will continue to exist.
And newly formed Ram Jeep brand will not be forgotten, American brands following its debut on the old continent to the model pick-up under the dome of Fiat Professional, dedicated commercial vehicle. There are not any information about Ram's release date products on the European market.
