Devon GTX will not go into production

Devon's GTX super car was canceled because of excessive production costs which have arisen because the Dodge Viper will not produce current. The model was to be launched during this month.

Devon's GTX super car based on the Dodge Viper, has been canceled and will never come into production. It should enter into sales even during this month, but going to eliminate Chrysler's Dodge Viper platform of production and acquisition costs of machinery factories Viper model would be too large and not amortized cost of sales.

Scott Devon, financier of the project, is disappointed that the GTX model will not produce, but said they did not abandon the trademark. Thus, Scott Devon will sell a clothing line, watches, sunglasses and perfumes under the brand Devon under its new store in Beverly Hills. Besides, Devon will sell and motorcycle built by the legendary Shin ya Kimbra.

The two prototypes Devon GTX will not be forgotten, however, one of which will be present in the store in Beverly Hills as an exhibit. Devon GTX was introduced last year in the contest of elegance of Pebble Beach. The use of Dodge Viper chassis and V10 engine of 8.4 liters of it, which was amended to provide 650 hp.
