2009 Dodge Ram 3500 SXT 4x4 Quad Cab DRW pickup 4-door manual
All 3500 models come standard with the newly upgraded 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 gas engine. The popular 6.7-liter Cummins six-cylinder turbo diesel is optional in all in 3500 trucks. The 3500 Quad cabs can be ordered as single rear wheel or dual rear wheel. The 3500 regular cab comes only as a dual-rear-wheel model. Four trim levels are available: ST, SXT, SLT and Laramie. The regular cab isn't available in Laramie, and the Mega Cab isn't available in ST.

The 2009 Dodge Ram 3500 features the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel as standard for all trim levels, producing 650 lb-ft of torque and 350 horsepower. A limited slip rear axle is also standard and a 5-speed manual transmission is not available with the optional 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. Remote start is available with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel.
Like other heavy-duty pickups, the Ram 3500 has a stiff ride that bounces passengers around. Choosing this heavy-duty work truck over the regular 1500 lets you opt for the 325-hp Cummins 5.9-liter turbo diesel six-cylinder engine. Chrysler's powerful 5.7-liter Hemi V8 is also available. The crew cab's rear seat is tight and upright.
