The Chrysler 300C is the performance version of the Chrysler 300, only with the addition of a standard Hemi V8.Available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Chrysler's 340hp 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 engine powers the 300C Hemi and all-wheel drive Base models through a five-speed automatic transmission. The engine is intelligently able to shut down select cylinders which conserve gas. Standard features such as, Smart Beam headlamps, four-wheel-disc antilock brakes, traction control and an electronic stability control system enhance safety. A 425hp 6.1-liter Hemi V8 powers the SRT8.

The 300C ride is generally smooth, though some of our testers complain of annoying jiggling on rippled freeways. Ride is less composed on AWD models, with sharp pounding over road imperfections. SRT8 is impressively smooth, despite 20-inch tires and performance suspension tuning.300C has a large, deep trunk. Hinges don't intrude, but leftover is fairly high, and the opening is too small to load large cargo.300C has Lots of headroom. Legroom is adequate, but quickly shrinks as front seats are moved back. Good foot space under the front seats. Seat bottoms provide adequate thigh support, but the central rider straddles the driveline hump. Long-wheelbase version adds 6 inches of legroom, fold-down footrests, and a passenger-side tray table.
